This WWII countermeasures antenna from my collection covers the frequency range 350-800MHz which covers the entire amateur 420 MHz band. This unit appears to be unused. The RF connection is a standard SO-239. This unit is listing #252710461941. Some resourceful amateur should be able to think up some uses for this antenna.
It is interesting to note that the AS-114/APT was used by countermeasures officer Jacob Beaser on both the Enola Gay & Bock's Car to search for any signals in the 400 MHz range that might interfere with the APS-13 radar sets used as part of the fuzing system in the first A-bombs.
