I have used Greyhound in the past for both oversize items and also fragile items(neon signs), Prices where reasonable and the big plus is items are handled individually not tossed around off of trucks and conveyers. The minus is no delivery so parties on both ends need to be near a bus terminal. If I recall weight limits where 125# ( I never shipped over70#). Calculators where available on line.

On heavy items I have heard of guys using Fastenal ( the tool and hardware supply shops. These where acquaintances into farm stationary engines. Again the same limits as to delivery/pick-up, but hear we are talking items well over 100#.
