[Milsurplus] I-208 signal generator value

Hi,
One possibility for shipping heavy items like that is the interstate bus
lines. I have observed the drivers and other staff using hand dollies
(carried on the buses) to handle the heavy boxes, crates, and even some
of the passenger luggage. An acquaintance of one of my children is
manager for the Greyhound freight services in a major terminal. His
relationship to me is too remote for this to be a brazen plug. I have
mentioned them before (long before we met this kid). If I ever find a
buyer for the Apache I may find out first-hand how well that works.
Maybe I should troll for a RAL again and arrange to have shipped that
way (if I find one I can afford). I don't know that they will do the
crating. Somebody who wants a hulk like that probably knows it will cost
more to ship than the scrap value of the equipment.
The man my kids know is too far away so I will try to stop at the
'terminal' in Grayling, MI to ask about details. This keeps coming up
and all I can do now is suggest people ask about it. So *I* will ask.
