The old ARRL handbooks had a chapter on construction methods that showed how
to do metal working with simple hand tools; hacksaw, tin snips, hand drill,
hand files, hardwood blocks clamped in vise for bending, etc. However,
projects that appeared in the handbooks were usually made in the ARRL shop
that had professional tools; metal shear, box & pan bending brake, hole
punch, drill press, etc. Mike, W6MAB
