There is a War Department series of small softbound books on various campaigns of the Pacific War and one volume has photo or photos of the Japanese transmitter.
I have the book somewhere. Radio News magazine among others had photos of the corresponding receiver positions with the Special Receiver type 92 in place.
The Japanese retreated from this base in abject haste, leaving much working equipment including power generators and food stocks. It occurred to me that Japanese
manuals maybe didn't include a page on "How to Destroy to Prevent Enemy Capture". Maybe that would have been viewed as defeatism.
"Rust in Peace" a large coffee-table style photo book has a photo of some Japanese transmitter still in a tunnel underneath Rabaul.
