I hope you can find the original power supply to go with it. The MG sets
were usually 120 or 220 volt DC drive, so supplying that today is not a
problem. If it has the 3 phase drive motor, a small variable frequency
drive can easily convert single to three phase. As an alternative to
that, if you are skillful with motors, it is often possible to adapt a
three phase motor to single phase by reconnecting the windings and
adding a starting and run condensor circuit.
