I had a brand new TCM once, with original AC supply. I was within an "inch" of having it on
the air, but then got called away to a job far away from Missoula, Montana, and gave it to a
friend.
He had it for a few years, then threw it away. :-(
I have regretted ever since giving anything to him.
I know where there is another TCM RF section, only a few blocks from here, but it is in bad
condition, and the owner may not let me have it. It was his father's, who died recently.
BTW, when I was helping the son go through his father's stuff, we found an entire box of
those brand new "10 Specials" which were used in British aircraft transmitters. There are
either 10 or a dozen in the box, all boxed up in their individual original boxes.
I have all the power supplies I would need for the TCK, and all the tubes.
Hmmmm.....this is getting....interesting...
