[Milsurplus] Fwd: Re: [ARC5] "What's Old is New..."

Looking back at my time in Navy RM school (1967), the vast bulk of guys
(and gals) were more interested in their next liaison, or time at the
club than in communications. Yet, they learned, how to tune RX and TX,
electronic basics, CW,
all the message procedures, and more. Regardless of the age or
generation, most anyone motivated enough to be in military comms will
surely be able to learn how to tune a KWM-2 and why they're learning it.
It isn't rocket science.
