[Milsurplus] AN/ARC-2 question

I don't hear any PTO feedthrough in my ARC-2 on AM, when I use it. I can only use it in that mode only on the local strong signal AM net because of the broad bandwidth. Adjacent signals wreak havoc on AM, unless the signals of interest are really strong. By the way, it is not the subject of this thread, but on CW the tranceiver is usable with fairly good results with an outboard dual active audio filter with peak and notch functions. Naturally, this doesn't help on AM...
