[Milsurplus] Japanese Receiver

The  radio museum I volunteer at has recently been given a Japanese Navy
Model 92 receiver.  I was able to obtain a couple of photos online, but
found little in the way of technical info. Can any of you direct me to
information on this receiver? It's a 1930's design and the quality of
construction is impressive.
