Robert - OK thinking back I seem to remember some of mine have the
motor and some do not. It has been along time since I played with the
dingle unites ... they are under glass in the display...

I do power up the later Multi-band plugin and play from time to time!

RE: difference between the AN/APR-1 plug-in's and the single-band ones for
the APR-4(*) is that the former do not have the scan motor and limit
switches.

Ed,

The two AN/APR-4 receivers run off of 115 VAC 60-1000 cps. The APR-4Y
only runs off of 400-1000 cps.

Besides the nomenclature, the difference between the AN/APR-1 plug-in's
and the single-band ones for the APR-4(*) is that the former do not have the
scann motor and limit switches.

Jeff- what is the difference between apr-4 and apr-4y?
We have a ECM display here at SMECC Museum
of Jammers and Receivers.
( and yea always looking for more too and all the manuals etc)

for the APR-4 you can use all the single plus ins or there is a
wonder plug in of later vintage what is MULTI-BAND ( many of these were
made
quite late compared to the old single band plug ins.

I have found all the plugins to interchange between the APR-1 and APR4

Hello All!

Been looking for an AN/APR-4Y receiver mainframe to complete a setup.
Anyone have one they are tired of?

Also still looking for WWII jammer stuff, have a lot of it, but you might
have a better one for my collection. Working on getting permanent space
here at the college for a small museum of WWII Electrotechnology.

Thanks &73
