Thanks for the input! Tomorrow i will get my disassembly tools, pop a top ( of a can of green tea ), and will proceed with alacrity to harvest
nice, clean, new parts.
This thing is in “unissued” condition. I will also end up with a high quality, well painted, good looking “URM-34 brand” carry case. Oh boy!

I have “dispositioned” several HP 614 through 626 sig gens, which this is based on, and they were 60 Hz!  All kinds of good parts,  and I didn’t shed a tear.  There are affordable used synthesizers that will cover the ranges these beasts cover, and with more power available, accurate attenuators, and modulation capability.  These things have long since outlived their usefulness, especially given the mass and bulk they take up.  Still won’t part with my TEK triple nickel, or my HP 410B, though!
