[Milsurplus] Lighting Arrestor and Antenna Tuners

 Hi All.Just wondering about the above, I have put an arrestor on my coax line while waiting to put my antennas back up.  It basically has a 300K input to the radio through some caps and a resistor, and a toroid coil and a neon bulb on the antenna side.  Gotta have some effect I would think?  The arrester is a Jetstream JTLa1.  Thanks,John WD5ENU
