[Milsurplus] TA-12 XMTR in Pairs?

Ah! Okay, that's part of a series of WWII Bendix Interphone systems
(IM-2, IM3, etc.) that included a bunch of components which provided
flexible control over a variety of comms equipment. The heart of the
system was a 3 watt interphone amplifier with the designation 3611. The
original 3616 was tailored for the TA-12, but the 3616B included the
capability for controlling 8 channels - presumably to accommodate the
TA-2 variants. See attached three page pdf that shows _only_ the 3616
but mentions the difference between it and the 3616B. I can send you a
higher resolution version if you wish, but it's over a megabyte.

The junction box was commonly a part of Bendix products, a marketing
strategy to eliminate the need for an engineer to worry about such
things when adapting the system to an aircraft. What you received was a
complete system when you wrote out the check. All you needed to do was
provide the cables.
