[Milsurplus] RADAR locators mentioned in Tales of a Feather Merchant

I don't think so, that was a self contained system for navigating to a
location.

What  I think we are looking for is more like a beacon that a fire control
system could use to make a differential measurement against, as in "fire
500 yards Northeast of this beacon".  Would be a good inquiry for   vintage
military radar   list.
