After having an ART-13 speech amplifier and the receiver section of a WS-52
confiscated by the Global shipping program, I did a little looking at the
program. It is a "convienent" way to ship things. If you watch how you
post things you can usually avoid their traps. First clue is when you list,
you may get a warning that the particular item cannot be shipped through
global shipping. This seems to occur when you list in certain categories.
When you get that sort of warning, just go back and change the category. The
second caution is to never have the word "military" in the heading for your
listing. Also, I think there may be some size and weight restrictions in
that system. I'm not a big time eBay seller, or fan either for that matter,
but if you want to sell things, it is by far the largest audience.
