I just bought from Abebooks.com a good condition book, "The History of
British Army Signals in the Second World War",
Major-General R. F. H. Nalder, 1953, for less than $50. I see there are a
few other copies offered at around this price.
My intent in posting this information is just to apprize any who might be
interested, of the existence of this book. 300+
pages, much detail on many interesting facets of development and testing of
equipment, frequency bands and so on;
also an equipment table.
Again i owe thanks to Tony Grogan, SK, who sent me photocopies of sections
of this book in the early 1980s.
I'd wanted to look into that book since then, and now i've finally tied up
that to-do item.
