Thanks so much Al!  That was a major fox paw!  I could claim mental disability in the wee morning hours, but in truth I had forgotten that.  It is single conversion ONLY for its 2 to 4 MHz range, where the second RF and first mixer are bypassed.

It is an all-time favorite aircraft receiver of mine, but it's been at least 15 years since I powered one of mine up.  I'm about to get interested in AN/ARC-38 gear after long hiatus.  I'd love to get the RT-311 working.

Thanks again, Al.  I welcome much anyone's correction and comments on any issue for which I've made a post...the sooner the better!
