Sometime back i asked about a Johnsen, yes it IS Johnsen, key i have.
I wondered where it was from.
Looking at a book, "Electronic Equipment of the the German Navy", April
1945, i saw a
"Johnsen 20 Watt Transmitter Receiver Jo 20 k 41"
I think someone responded that it may have been built in Denmark.
The radio was something like our Navy's TCS, a stacked transmitter and
receiver, with
vibe supply on the bottom deck. Good looking equipment for ham use BUT not
as robust
as the TCS, certainly. The tuning dials are large semicircles and seems
they'd be easy to be
bashed in, in a combat environment. Maybe it was intended only for larger
ships.
