Many thanks to Todd, KA1KAQ, who recognized the tube compliment of the
431B-1 as being close to that of a Collins 432D-2 (FRT-24) and directed me
to Nick England's, K4NYW, comprehensive site for more information. Using the
information from Nick's site and the schematics for the 431B-1 transmitters
that I had I was able to determine that the circuits were identical, down to
the component designations!
The 432D-2 appears to have been the predecessor to the 431B-1 and differs in
that the 432D-2 had an autotune capability whereas the 431B-1 had to be
tuned manually.
The information has been posted at:

Many thanks for those who helps in this search.
