[Milsurplus] BC-611 antenna insulator

Hi All,

I'm looking at the insulators on my two BC-611 cases and the top of one is
broken and the other is cracked.  They appear to be threaded into place but
there is no obvious place to grab them for turning without making the
damage worse.

Is there a good way to remove them or is it just grab and smash?
