[Milsurplus] DDS modulator

Hi

If you pick the right DDS chip, doing AM modulation is just a firmware tweak. On the other ones (that I am aware of)
it is a matter of feeding a PWM out of the MCU into the DAC bias pin. Either it’s a bit of code plus a jumper or just
a bit of code.

I am thinking of a simple resistive adder into the base of a 2N2222 to another 2N2222 emitter follower for a low Z output (50 Ohms) for the emitter R. 400 and 1000 Hz Osc. For the modulation. Would be using it for basic IF and low freq. RF alignment. What do you think of this for a very small generator for small workbenches?
