I used to have a AR-18 which Len purchased from me about 8 or so years ago, along with a bunch of German and Japanese WWII radios. I believe I still have a case full of spare tubes for the set. 73 - Mike

GM Hue,

Here’s a youtube link to a WWII German - Italian - Japanese presentation done at Antique Radio Charlotte (our local AWA meet) in March 2014 by Leonard (Len) Hunter KA3DBJ (“Don’t Buy Junk”) from Meadville PA (we unfortunately don’t video most of our presentations but we did in 2014 as a test):

There are a couple of Italian sets shown in the video approx 2/3 of the way through including a Ducati AR-18 aviation rx:

In his presentation Len also mentions this book (I don’t have but I need to find a copy)

Take care and have a great Tuesday,

I know this is not much to go on, but – does anyone know of an Italian WW2 receiver which uses 6 valves and IF= 333 kHz ?

The tubes are RSAF rf; RRCF converter; 2x RSAF if amps; R??2 audio ?

thanks-
