An RT-19 was the first item I ever ordered from Fair Radio, back in
1965. They were out of stock. I saw the conversion article in one
of the conversion manuals, and had to have one. Finally bought one
30 years later.

Mike, a question about your unit with the test meter, was that labeled
as an RT-19, or did it carry a WE 233A label? I have a 233A here with
the meter.

Recently I saw a crystal unit for the RT-19 on eBay, for 144.36. Bought
it, and it arrived in a sealed can. Opened it up, and found it was
packed for long term storage in 1951. Kind of surprised that the Navy
was stocking spares for the radio that late.
