Added note... yes when BAMA was started disk space or the lack of
it was king I can see how this format was a winner! back in 2004
webhosts were much more greedy for what they charges for storage.
well between the viewer program for the unique file converter should I
want a pdf this is all good!

OK. I just ran my DjVu RAK manual, which is about 1.2 MB in the DjVu
format through a free on-line converter at www.djvu2pdf.com
The resulting PDF file is ove 40 MB.(!!!!) I cannot send that via e-mail.
I can put it up on my website and you can download it from there. However,
I suggest, rather, that you simply download the DjVu file from the BAMA
mirror and convert it yourself. It is certainly quicker.
This certainly demonstrates how effective the DjVu format is as opposed to
the PDF format!!!
