yYikes!!!!!!!!!!  ok there are  various  setups of  PDF  file  size  but  
that is a difference indeed.. maybe  someone  up on PDF  structure can 
comment on what is  going  on?

OK. I  just ran my DjVu RAK manual, which is about 1.2 MB in the DjVu 
format through  a free on-line converter at www.djvu2pdf.com


The  resulting PDF file is ove 40 MB.(!!!!) I cannot send that via e-mail. 
I can  put it up on my website and you can download it from there. However, 
I  suggest, rather, that you simply download the DjVu file from the BAMA 
mirror  and convert it yourself. It is certainly quicker.


This  certainly demonstrates how effective the DjVu format is as opposed to 
the PDF  format!!!
