Yes indeed.  The instruction books are on BAMA, look under RCA. There is 
stuff to hear down there, although not like in den alten days.  SAQ on 
17.2 kc in Sweden transmits twice a year, mid-summer and Christmas Eve, 
with the last operating Alexanderson rotating machine transmitter, but 
unlikely to be heard in AZ.  There is the annual 12 July "Night of 
Nights" sponsored by the Maritime Radio Historical Society when several 
MF stations are on the air, including KPH in CA.  This year I think I 
heard the Lane Victory, a WWII Liberty (or Victory) Ship.  In mid-Winter 
you might hear long-wave broadcast stations from Russia or China, 155 to 
218 kc. Also there are experimental (amateur) stations 470 to 510 kc, 
and we are momentarily expecting a new ham band 402 to 409 kc. (I have a 
TBW ready to go)
