Hee hee, I thought that'd get a rise out of someone.
It is true that the newest vessel I ever served on was commissioned before
the end of the Korean War. But then USS Intrepid (originally CV-11 and a
sister ship to CV-45/CVS-45/LPH-8 that I served on) was commissioned 26 April,
1943, 8 months to the day before I was born. However, by the time of the
Vietnam War, RATT carried the bulk of HF traffic and the LOP's that remained
on the older larger vessels at least were seldom actually used.
