I had heard, anecdoteally (sp?) in about 1960 or so.

I had an RBB/RBC pair many years ago and have regretted every since that 
I had to get rid of them. Superb receivers. The audio limiter in those was the 
best I have ever used. At that time, I ran a KW on CW and used separate 
antennas for full QSK, with the limiter on, my own local signal was never any 
louder in my phones than the fellow I was working. Amazing!

Well, maybe someday before I finally kick off. :-)
