[Milsurplus] RBB receiver

I wish I was near Joliet!
Note that this receiver was restored at the Norfolk Naval Yard in 1957. When did the Navy take the RBBs and RBCs out of service?
In 1940, these receivers supposedly cost $2,400 each. In today's dollars, that's nearly $41,000.
