I went to school (LSU) for a while with a kid from LaRose (sp) Cutoff whose 
father's business was at least in part converting BC-375's for shrimp boat 
use.  I don't remember his call after 55 years but his last name was 
Verlander I think.  Wesley W. ...  I can't recall him ever mentioning hammertone 
paint but I do recall that the comment in one of the Surplus Perviersion 
Manuals about the BC-375 hacked him (the son, who was my age) off.  :-)
