Well, I will stick with WD-40.. Just because it is good for paint on
furniture, does not mean it is good for that fine Collins wrinkle.. Color
me skeptical, but until I see it and try it, I am going to be gun-shy. Most
linseed oil I have seen is pretty heavy and I want that stuff on and then
off easily without filling in the corners.

Biil, All -
Linseed Oil is what Antique restorers use to clean old paint and varnish
makes sense.
Thanks

By the way, I am curious if you have ever seen buildup of the Linseed Oil in
the wrinkle. I have never used it for wrinkle paint and would be afraid of
buildup.. Linseed can be pretty gooey stuff.

Not good on Paint either.. Best stuff for that Black Wrinkle is WD-40.
The Armor All will lead to whitening later in many case.
Not to mention preclude any future possibility of paint touch up due to the
silicone involved. Nasty stuff all around, doesn't even stay shiny all that
long.
Used sparingly so as not to attract dust, WD-40 or linseed oil work well for
black wrinkle. I've always wondered if they actually 'feed' the paint to
some extent, replacing long-evaporate ingredients.
