[Milsurplus] [ARC5] Selective Level Mtr for LF.

I did not find the seller's caveats onerous. I thought they were very
reasonable; more reasonable than unreasonable.
Have you read any of Dennis Starks' Ebay listings? Now there are some
caveats!
I plan on Ebaying a lot of radios in the next couple years. I am very
curious what kind of problems sellers of vintage
electronics have - i never really had a problem as a seller in the past
- only as a buyer.
I think my policy will always be, "Sold as collectible - no statement as
to usability - no returns."

Guys,

Obviously the price is ridiculous. But I cannot blame the seller for the
caveats and "parts" statements. Our members sell stuff on that site on
behalf of the Radio Historical Society and have experienced what buyers
can do to sellers using the leverage that is granted to them,
particularly via PayPal. It can get ugly. I could tell stories but
will spare the forum's bandwidth. Sellers have learned the hard way to
protect themselves with statements like that. As a buyer you just have
to know where the seller is coming from and read past it.
