I don't understand the specs with respect to "Voltage Regulation" where it says "Capacitor". I doubt that it has a bank of auto-controlled switched capacitors on the output for voltage control.  :-)

Maybe it has simple variable-field excitation...I did not see a voltage control, but the voltmeter would seem to indicate adjustable excitation.

The gold-standard for AC-waveform and voltage and frequency regulation comes from the inverter designs of units like the Honda eu2000.  Those are vety sophisticated...and quiet.  I bought the service manual for one just to learn about its design and construction.  Maybe someday I'll buy the hardware as well.

There are Chinese 1600 W inverter units available for about $350.  I know nothing about their performance and durability.
