I believe the ARN-7 was used until the early to mid-1970’s in the US Navy. Later with the RCAF. Many aircraft from the SNB/C-45 series and R4D/C-47 series used them as well as many other earlier aircraft that had it as original equipment. The ARN-6 seems more common in later production aircraft that never saw the ARN-7. Your eBay ARN-7 seems right in line with what I have seen in surviving Navy aircraft these days. In my limited experience I haven’t seen much of it used post 1980.

Photo on eBay shows one with a 1971 rework logo and an emblem text that is hard to read but might be NAFL?
