[Milsurplus] ARN-21 Tacan

The ARN-21 came to the (Navy) squadron that I was in about 1956. It was presumably the latest & greatest thing for navigation.
I would think that it would more likely been installed in the B-50, B-47 or B-36. Just guessing w/o doing any research.

I found Operating Instructions Radio Set AN/ARN-21 dated 1956. On the front
page is pencilled " B-29 751 ".
This is an IFF-like 960-1215 MHz navigation system.
Is this likely to be a correct notation?
