I have indeed been looking into that, Mike.
Looked at some of the ways those solutions have been implemented 
in modern, plastic toy radios.  Shouldn't be hard to adapt.  Can 
you suggest readily available resonators that might work for a CW 
filter?  I find lots of them for 5 and 2.5 KC FM receiver 
applications; their shape doesn't look very impressive and the 
ones on the market for ham rigs like Kenwood seem to cost as much 
as the mechanical filters.  Can you point me in a good direction?
