I'd guess the photo was rejected due to size, >250 kB. Nice looking beast,
though, and it deserves to survive, altho it's for someone who has no plans
to change QTH.
Yes, "rare" ( not=) "$ valuable". I have maybe 3 or so of old boat radios,
most likely these are the only surviving examples of their model, and
they're worth what,
maybe, maybe, maybe $5 at a swapmeet, maybe for the transmitter coils. But i
think they deserve to survive. "Someday" maybe someone will be thankful they
survived.

I have no idea whatsoever. I just have one of the beasts here. The cabinet
is made of heavy gauge steel on a framework of angle iron. Really adds to
the weight. I tried to post a picture, but I guess the reflector won't take
picturs anymore. I'll send you a picture separately.
