Yes, there was the PP-39/TRC-2 shown in TM 11-2603 and the PP-39A/TRC-2 
which I have one of.  Both fit into CW-12/TRC-2.  Mine isn't "handy" and I 
haven't compared it to the photos and schematic shown in the TM (which I think I 
acquired long after the power supply).
