- go back in time.... it  was  someone's prided   creation.
 
- remember...    there was a time  when much  surplus  got scrapped  just  
for it's metal content.
 
- by today's standards   this could be considered a sin to  create....
 
- but...back then it was just recycling... and remember... the best  
recycling is  resuse or repurpose.

0h...the humanity!!!

This is a very bizarre  super-hack of a BC-474 (SCR-288) in which the 
receiver section (somewhat  similar to an RCA AVR-20) has been chopped off and a 
real AVR-20-A1 has been  substituted.  The transmitter section on the right 
has been hacked  mightily as well.

Just more ham BS and wanton ignorant  distruction!  SCR-288 units have 
never been so common as to deserve what  happened here.

Junk...pure junk, unless some useful parts could be  salvaged.
