[Milsurplus] BC-RC-183 variation of RC-12 BFO/frequency meter

Back in mid-May, there was a fairly long discussion under the subject 
line "Identify this aircraft freq meter?" that went into some detail on 
the application of this unusual RF oscillator set.

Thanks to AB5S, I received a manual for this interesting 1935 BFO 
accessory for the well known SCR-183/283 sets, whose receivers have none 
(unlike the Navy RU sets, which provide an alternate means to copy CW.)  
With a bit of cleanup, the result is posted at

aware that it is about 2.5MB in size.

It's only flaw from a copy standpoint was the loss of the month and day 
of the manual on the second page.  If anyone has a clue, I would 
appreciate some insight.
