Shipping: I bought 4 of these last year with two power supplies. What most people don't realize is that their "local" UPS store will usually be glad to come to your location and pick up heavy items if you are unable or unwilling to transport them.  They will pack and ship them for about $1 per pound. At least, that's what it cost me last year. At  $350 for the lot, with original cables... I would consider a bargain. I think, all in, I have about $750-$800 in my set of 4, and was happy to get them. Damn fine receivers ! The last one I saw at Nearfest this past spring, was going for $285 (IIRC) with PS & orig cable... don't know if it sold or not.
On another note, I bought a little KX3 this year. The receiver is very highly rated.  When doing an A/B comparison, using the same antennas, the 75 year old RBC I have "hears" everything the KX3 hears and more !  In the middle of the day on 20M, I can  usually  find some some CW that the KX3 can't hear.
