Hi Nick:
I had one of the kites many decades ago. It came in a cardboard tube about 2" diameter x a couple of feet long. Orange
or Yellow cloth don't remember which.
The frame was lightweight metal tubes and the "X" braces on each end were hinged so you just pulled them out and they
snapped into place.
It was a very strong kite and I can see how it would lift a wire antenna. When it crashed into the ground the "X"
braces folded saving the kite from destruction.
