This person listing all the stuff in Minneapolis on craigslist is just playing you all. All this” if I don’t get $5,000 going to scrap it all” is a ploy to try to get the most money by working people up. The stuff is worth maybe $500 to a thousand dollars or maybe more to someone who wants it. This hack is so cheap he won’t list on EBay because he will have to pay a percentage to them; no way is he just going to walk away from it. He will take whatever the highest offer is and now with all the talking on this and other groups will do well. But if He is won’t give EBay a cut he won’t walk away from selling this stuff for $50 no less $5,000.00
My issue is not with Craigslist, EBay or any marketplace; some may remember that I have sold more than a couple things on the list in the past. My issue is with the people who come in from the outside and use scare tactics, buzzwords or other mechanisms that were once just the venue of the used car dealers and run the price up on everything. I would like to own a TDE one day, don’t know why or have any good reason just want to but because of this fiasco everyone now knows that they start at five thousand dollars.
If nothing else the seller has provided some benefit in bringing this to our attention and preventing this from all being scraped or landfilled and we do owe them something for that but can’t they do this without the added dramatics? “.....shame for them to be destroyed” indeed.

Going to be very sad to see it all go to scrap.  Wish to goodness I had the means to go after it.
