I have just finished scanning and posting NAVSHIPS 900,109 which is the
1945 master list of all Navy Type (NT) Number electronic components. Many
thanks to Mike Hanz for the loan of this rare document.
It is a big doc (340MB of pdfs) but broken up into sections.
No photos, just short descriptions and an indication of in what equipment
it was first used. I ran OCR so the pdfs are searchable, but the type is
fuzzy and small so the OCR didn't catch everything.

You can find things like CMK-26009 (speed key) or CAY-46078 (rcvr, part of
RBM), along with thousands of control boxes, mounts, cables, resistors,
capacitors, relays, transformers, etc.. It does not include complete
equipments, like RBC, TBM, etc.
Section IV is 175 pages of AN-numbered components like CX-181/ARC-1 (but
again, not complete equipments like AN/ARC-1)
Finally Section V contains Radar and Special Use Components with numbers
like 23CWX and 46AYA
Have fun,
