One comment - the 5814 and 5814A is medium mu and equivalent to 12AU7 and 
12AU7A, not high mu like the 12AX7.  Although I once babysat two heavy 
shipboard transmitters (AN/WRT-2) which used (and regularly ate) several 5751;s in 
a divider circuit, I don't recall whether 5751 is medium or high.  I just 
always made sure that Supply kept plenty on hand.
