Too bad. I've always wanted a norden bomb sight! But alas, I haven’t found one at a price I was willing to pay. Now it will be even harder to find one :(

Think the words “Norden Bomb Sight” is what got you noticed. EBay saw that and killed all of your listings. At this time there are over a thousand items listed under the word search “Military Radios” , Military vehicles has its own category on EBay Motors and a simple word search of “ammo can” brings back over three thousand results and what surprises me is that a search for “K Bar” brought back over 192 thousand results!
Word search for AR-15 comes back with over sixty thousand items but the same search with the word “Military” added results in just six thousand matches and with the exception of training manuals, cleaning kits and ammo pouches none of the items relate to the gun itself. With the millions of items for sale on EBay would assume they use a filter that looks for combinations of key words or phrases but somehow don’t see them waging a war agents all military surplus, an if they are looks like there doing a piss poor job of it.

Jack -
First its the Millennial's and their thought process I.M.O. They see, "
military ordnance", no perspective.
I would contact Ebay - and in a nice way ask who at EBay made this decision ?
"... contact our policy experts.
http://ocsnext.ebay.com/ocs/cusr?query=508&domain=email1384 The are not historical Genius over there.
Do what they said to do just make a stink:
Contact the JEAP you can email them at SMBLOGCOMJEAP at usmc.mil ask questions about items why these items were asked to be removed at the request of the DoD. These are after all vintage surplus Military items.
Contact DoD website is http://www.defenselink.mil/ "Because the sale of many military items is either prohibited or highly regulated by the government .... ", who is responsible for putting these particular vintage Military items on a watch list!? What list and who is the author of the list?
I would CC your Congressman, and Senator on all three communications just to make them happy. Let them do all the work Just start asking questions.

our Firearms, Weapons, and Knives policy. We understand that you may not have been aware of this policy or that this may have been an oversight, so we're including some policy information to help you with your future listings. We also had to take the following actions:

equipment, vehicles, and their related parts. This restriction includes items that are considered demilitarized, de-milled, or unserviceable. This is because we can't confirm whether the items have been changed in ways that would make them safe and legal to sell and transport.

manuals were removed. Questions about this action should be directed to the Joint Equipment Assessment Program (JEAP) within the DoD, as we have no additional information. To contact the JEAP you can email them at SMBLOGCOMJEAP at usmc.mil with any questions about items removed at the request of the DoD. The DoD website is http://www.defenselink.mil/ Because the sale of many military items is either prohibited or highly regulated by the government, there are certain items that can't be listed on eBay. This policy is in place to make sure everyone is informed about the restrictions before listing any military items on our site. As many of these items remain the property of the United States Military or similar agencies, we do not allow them to be sold on eBay.

be sure that your current and future listings follow these guidelines. If they don’t, they'll be removed and we may, at our sole discretion, decide not to refund your fees. It could also result in additional actions, including loss of buying and selling privileges on eBay.
