[Milsurplus] OS-8C/U

  Found an OS-8C/U scope in perfect cosmetic condition yesterday at the TRW swap meet and couldn't pass it up even though I already have and HP 100 MHz scope.  It even has the original test leads and spare fuses.  Brought it up slowly on the variac and got no complaints from the electrolytics or anything else.  I checked it out in accordance with the manual and found everything works perfect.  Nice traces on all frequencies within its range and centering controls put the dot right in the center at half rotation on each. I'd expected there to be some off-center operation due to resistance value changes, but none occurred.

  So, what's the problem?  The problem is, missing graticule.  Anyone know where I can get an original or reproduction graticule, or even instructions on how to make one?  I suspect that a graticule that fits most any 3-inch diameter scope tube like the 3RP1 in the OS-8 would work.  Any information would be much appreciated.  Mike, W6MAB
