Michael,
If there is a pair of plates, and a pair of one of the grids, I would think
you
could use it as a balanced mixer, product detector, whatever.
There is a 9-pin miniature tube, I forget the # for the moment, that has
common
g1, g2, but separate g3 and plates. I think this is a sort of ugly sister
of the beam
deflection tubes.
