Hi

Ok, if we are admitting to guilt, then I’ll chime in as well. 

 Don’t get the 12V fuses mixed up with the 250V fuses. I learned that one the hard way back in 1966. Somehow checking it out on Google did not occur to me back then :). The full explanation was only apparent many years later. The simple solution - “don’t do that / read the label” worked pretty well even in the absence of all the theory.
